I have to say I am pretty annoyed at these #WEW1N OPQS and Astana bikes.

What on earth is it? Some sort of Specialized idea?

    It looks awful.

Oh, Oude kaas for me every time from that list. I haven't found a wine I like to drink with it though. I think I like it sooo much I don't want the taste to be adulterated with anything else

Oude kaas is better with beer.

Obvious innit. Don't know why I never thought; after all, the Netherlands isn't exactly known for it's wine.

I've accumulated about 40 or so various Belgian and Dutch beers so might nip out for some Oude Kaas and give this a try with one or two this evening

Probably just some marketing thing. Not nice.

Ideally the oude kaas should be in blokjes, complimented with a dunk in some mustard. Even better if you also have some sausage of some description.

    Hmmmmmm bier en hapjes. Lekker.

Wiggins is in the Sky team car apparently.

False alarm. Wrong info from this guy: https://twitter.com/EllisBacon

Should know better than to trust a journo's word I guess.

With Bitterballen that makes one of the few things I miss about NL...

Never mind all this; what is Purito wearing?

Polka dot jersey with normal Katusha red shorts... nothing too spotty from the pic I saw...

Talansky out the back by 30 secs. Looks smoked as the whole AG2R team came past drafting a car and he couldnt even hitch a ride.

Possibly but he is going backwards at the moment and couldnt latch onto the cars - so much more likely he is cooked. Over a minute back.

    3mins back.

Cannondale are really stringing it out to pull back the break and they are now less than 3mins ahead.

Sounds like he was struggling from the start. If he punctured it just added to his woes.

Four and a half minutes back, if I read the caption correctly. From the lack of teammates around, I presume Garmin have given up on him.

Edit: In fact they seem to be driving the front of the peloton. Strange. I have the sound turned down so can't tell what the commentators make of that.

Now they're on the front... I guess so!
