    Woohoo!

There are 4 of them. I think Mr Chasey might be interested in the 4th one

Martin looks like he's not trying. The chase group going through and off with pain faces not catching him. Not going to bother watching anymore :(

It's a bit much. Maybe they do not know what connotations 'flower power' has:

He IS the world time trial champion, one would assume he would do alright in a solo breakaway?

Ha well, flowerman or little flower are the ones to go with as they come directly from the Polish. Have not heard flower power as a nickname and doesnt sound like one. Should not be either!

Cannot post a photo of Tony as he has kineo tape, black sunglasses, black socks and a skinsuit on.

    Hmm,
Flower Power: connotations of peace and love and hippies. NOT ACCEPTABLE
Panzerwagen: connotations of war, destruction, millions of lives lost to German aggression. ACCEPTABLE.

Help me here, FF, I'm struggling with this...

Tony Martin showing Wiggo the way. Once again Germans school the English at sport: Mind and Matter.

Cheng has the Dao, Martin rides on Jung & Freud.

The SS were always keen to attack whereas hippies are too passive and spend too much time staring at the Sky.

But not exactly performance enhancing drugs.

    They're three separate events.

Maybe he has plans to be a Mayor of San Francisco and live in the Haight Ashbury/Castro part of the City. ??

I suspect Martin is more strongly influenced by Nietzsche's Übermensch. His TTing also draws heavily on Heidegger's Sein und Zeit.

    Just saw the result.

    :|

    Not so good for JdvB.

Weren't Europcar able to use their superior numbers to chase the farmer?

Good tour for Germany. And then the World Cup.

That's the kind of thing I'd like to see Wiggo trying for OGE - ITTs, TTs and epic breakaways.

Interesting. Looking at riders' strava, today's so-called mountain stage had less climbing than the York-Sheffield stage

There were so many uncategorised climbs in that stage though, I rode out to Blubberhouses from Harrogate and I don't think there was one flat bit of road at any point!

Chapeau Tony Martin. That took guts. I think one of his legs is twice as good as both of mine.
2 very good stages in a row. Looks like this thing is hotting up nicely. Wonder how Nibali will react tomorrow...
