Bless Carlton's attempts to inject a little excitement into proceedings with his sexy roundabout talk.Correlation is not causation.0

What's all this crap from Carlton TM looking ugly on the bike in the TT position? I think he has one of the most rock solid text book positions out there! God knows what they think of Froome if he thinks TM is ungainly.0

I got Germany in the World Cup sweepstake.
This has to be a good omen for tonight, right?0 -
Now that's how you win a stage. Epic!0

Tony Martin wins and what a win that is. Not a breakaway like yesterday which was allowed 11mins with 50km to go and got the win by just 2mins. Martin went from very early on, did 85% of the relays with De Marchi and was being chased by a group of 25 riders. He didn't falter though and amazingly increased that lead from 45secs to 3mins. The peloton tried to reduce the gap to Gallopin and thus Martin, but it didn't come down at all.
Heavyweight win. Many congratulations for that show of strength. He also takes the combativity prize and the polka dot jersey. Not a bad Sunday for him!

It's 18% right? Winning time is 249 minutes so 18% is 44.82 minutes, around 44mins 50s.0 -
What is Carlton talking about? The group of GC contenders has grown? No it hasn't. It's exactly the same as it was at the start of the stage.Correlation is not causation.0

Brilliant from Big Tone, but that was a godawful stage.
Bring on the GC boys.0 -

I'm not going to complain, but I do wonder if the slow-motion action-replay of her greeting Monsieur Gallopin was really necessary.0 -
Cheng's pulling the finish line closer with a rope attached to his eyelashes.Correlation is not causation.0

Cheng has used his power through his wheels to make the Earth spin more slowly on it's axis to make sure that he makes the cut.Head Hands Heart Lungs Legs0 -
Proper cycling cap for Martin. None of this vulgar baseball cap nonsense0

Cheng comes in 21'28" down, together with Ted King, who stays as lantern rouge.
Job done towing that big German fella with the hair over the hills...
Well done, Cheng!!!!!!!!!Head Hands Heart Lungs Legs0 -
The most exciting part of the stage for me was when the main group came in. I had a bet on Mollema to beat Bardet at 6/4 and he was riding in right on Bardet's wheel. All was lost. But then, with about 100-200m to go he drifted out and eased past him. It was beautifulTwitter: @RichN950
