    Good ride by Boom

    4/10?

Hell of a ride by Porte and G!

    Disastrous for OPQS.
And chapeau to Boom, he was obviously so strong. He just rode away on all the sectors without trying.

It's gonna take a hell of a 'steak' for contador to make this time back :)

Epic. OK, now it has finished would AtC and DDRaver like to comment on whether the race would be better without this stage? It should make the mountains even better as well.

Contador loses 2:30 on nibs - perfect for the mountains

 Sensational stage. Approx Porte +1:50, Contador 2:30.

    Nah.

Contador is stronger than Nibs in the mountains. He does have his work cut out for him TBH. Bodes well for future stages.

enjoyed that, going to be a poor few days in comparison. That time gap has kept it interesting (not saying that it was a race of only him and froome). Tad sad for Froome, but that is racing and perhaps other teams were smarter or the riders just more confident.

Rick great job commentating as i watched

Best stage for quite some time..... I loved that!

Unlucky for Froome, I'm not his biggest fan; he must be gutted.

I dont think Porte has it in his legs for GC so they should have let G go for the stage. I am sure everyone will let Tinkof do the attacking and let Astana do the chasing, hope NIbs wins this but dont think he will hold it through the mountains.

Handy to have Fuglsang as a plan B 2 seconds after on GC.

Would have a been a Belkin one-two, but for Sep's puncture. Still he is young, and there are many wins to come for him.

    Still think Contador has this.

This stage is fantastic for newbie brits who have seen the TDF for the first time in Stages 1,2 and 3, as if they are still watching they've just witnessed something incredible. (Unless they were full Sky kit fancy dressers who can't see past their Froomitis of course)

    Going to love the photos.

Very enjoyable stage but Froome out and many riders ambitions smoked is awful.

Contador 2.3 down is too much for comfort even if it will be done.
