Nibali had Van Petegem as a coach for riding the cobbles on this stage, apparently.

Lemoine doing the polka dot jersey justice.

All 3 jersies in the front group.

Nibbles has done everything for this TdF. A brilliant up yours from those comments from his manager. What a performance so far.

    This.

No-one's defended that long in the last 20 years or so have they?

    Sh!tloads.
Every favourite that isn't Nibs or Talansky

Sound. I'm trying to keep an eye out for Bardet and Pinot but will just need to keep my eyes peeled to confirm.

Oh my, what a ride by Nibali. Get yourself in with a ton of hardcore classics guys and the gap moves from 15secs to 2mins over 30km.

Kwaitek still there. Dark horse if he hangs on in the mountains.

Kind of a good situation to be honest. Contador will have to murder the mountains.

Issue is why Contador is not riding well enough on the cobbles.

Think I saw Pinot in there earlier, looking reasonably comfortable.

Do you think the grumpy ones in here don't enjoy this? It's hard to believe so.

This gap to Contador should make the mountains fun, but let's not win the Tour here, eh Nibbles?

That doesn't look like a huge group around Contador anymore, 40 max?

    Costa with Contador.

It's all very well feeling safe with all the other favourites guys but Nibs is running away with it!

Rick can you set up a proper live text updates for bikeradar? because your forum posts are beating the BBC news rubbish.

I'm at a gold mine in the middle of the Atacama desert so streaming is impossible. I can't wait to watch the highlights in 6 weeks time what a stage.

Nibali will want to lose the Maillot Jaune to give his team a rest. Westra has been incredible today.

I was worried we might have seen a coronation with the departure of Froome but hopefully not. Will be crossing my fingers for Little Flower (I'll probably have jinxed him now).

Looks like him but can't get a shot of his number. Reckon Bardet must be further back though.
