Nieve's in the group with Porte, Eisel and Thomas. Not bad for a little climber

1 min 15 now. How is that chase group so strong but so bad at closing them gap? Currently is BMC, Movistar, Sky and Tinkoff vs. Lieuwe Westra

Why can't ITV do what they do with the cricket. If they must have so many adverts, stop having them lasting 5 minutes at a time and just do one ad and back to the action!

Wet roundabouts have no place in a GT, far too dangerous.

:) you tend to get roundabouts on roads

Well they should stop rain at GTs then. Thinking about it, the rain was responsible for all those Giro crashes too so definitely should not be allowed.

And tarmac, cos it's quite abrasive if you fall on it.

Just make them get off and walk around the corners, simple.

I suspect Nieve will end up being SKY's Plan B.
If Thomas is being held back for Porte then Bernie needs to have Nieve stuck to his back wheel like Cav used to be in the mountains

Contador was doing that the other day so it's probably alright.

    They need Cheng!

Can only see 2 Giant riders left. I wonder how rigidly the organisers will apply the time cut off rules today....

Let's face it, VR turbo trainers were invented for a reason and we would get a worthy winner rather than one who was luckiest.

When I saw them Porte was with Eisel and Thomas, but Nieve was further back in the group by himself
