Anyone else notice the flashing lights on the back of trek riders (except Cancellara)?
Some awareness campaign for always having lights on to be seen.0 -

Not TDF gear but new for 2015... A new Garmin 520. Looks like it does 99% of what the Garmin 1000 does for half the price. Looks half the size too. Evans website says in stock 30/07/15 £240.
Comparison between 520 and 1000 (from what I worked out the only difference is the 520 doesn't tell you the weather and the map just shows your location not routable directions) =

First time all bikes cary a GPS responder, good idea to put in the back for a decent reception.

For you, Tommy, ze tour is over"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

I guess they have to bring the price down, you can do the same with a smartphone and Bluetooth 4.0 sensors. Good to have a phone with you anyway! Looks good though.0 -

The lapierre catalogue mentions the vertical seat post with two versions (picture not clear enough to tell if the catalogue model is the post shown) - one with saddle forward for time-trials and timed sprints and the saddle aft for triathlons and iron-man races. Although the picture has it in the less aggressive mode which if above is correct is odd for a short TT.0 -

The forward position would not be UCI legal
This has shot to the top of my Classics bike list

Discs make a lot of sense and make the bike look cleaner, use it as a cross too. looks good. I like the Cannondale road lefty's coming through as well.0

Some lovely yellow neutral service Canyons - also saw a couple of what looked like Cannondales on a third neutral service car:
(apologies for the dodgy pic)
And Sky using a mix of Hed and Pro tro-spokes... not sure why they use a mix?

∆ That's a damn menagerie of carbon.0

I think MTN had the most bikes on display, they had a set of the silver P5s out, and the normal black P5s as well as the new silver S5s. Unfortunately couldn't get close enough for decent pictures on my phone:
Check out Martin's saddle - obviously he doesn't like to move around much. The grip on the nose will also help him get into a super aggressive position for his inevitable solo-breakaway at some point:
Paolini had some very subtle shoe covers:
And Boom's shoes clash with the kit nicely. He's also on the new Specialized Power saddle. And yes I did get a selfie with him.

Martin has been using this saddle for years. It's got a sandpaper surface sewn-in (not stuck on). So it's legal. They just added the blue K-Tape over top for training. It saves shredding the shorts every time he rides the bike. The tape is peeled off for actual racing when he needs the extra grip.0 -
That's an ugly bike... odd since the Helium is so pretty
0 -
∆Getting used to the dropped seat stays, but yes Helium looks good, light. The length of that seat tube:).
Would they have any of these in yellow, doubt they expected Froome to be second on stage30 -
Loads of Oakley jawbreakers on show. Some different makes/models that I don't recognise also.0

The canyon logo never looks right at that angle to the down tube, I guess it's a difference to other manufacturers, which sets them apart.0

3 d printed titanium

∆ like that and a kick back to lugs. Must be easier to slot in tubes rather than mould it. I wonder if its production or R&D?0

new Canyon Speedmax
not sure if UCI legal without the integrated hydration/snack box up front?
