I believe each pair is being auctioned with the proceeds going to charity...0 -
Not really sure why you think that? He's auctioning them off for charity afterwards, which is nice. What's creepy about shoes? You don't half talk some rubbish sometimes Dennis!0
-
Has anyone bought any of these yet? I'm thinking of upgrading all my hangers
I believe they come in at €99 each, but with a weight of 100g a-piece they are hard to beat.
(Sorry Rick, no trouser compatible version as yet)0 -

OK, my bad if he's auctioning them for charity.
More than a few of them are kinda creepy though.0 -

Aren't Zipp their wheel sponsor any more? Or do they only do the stem and seatposts these days?
Still listed on the team website as a "partner".
I imagine that is the 'stock' one which joe bloggs buys off the shelf as Roval is Spesh's in-house wheel maker
Saxo have been on Roval wheels all season as far as I'm aware.
They still use Zipp for TTs.0 -

I realise this is not the right thread to ask this but does anyone have the photo of Cavendish and Kwiatkowski from the Tour last year? I cant remember what stage it was from (perhaps the echelon one) but they were both on the team bus and looking / hanging out the window and had their caps on...it had a timeless quality to it, could have been taken 50 years ago.
Unfortunately i cant find it anywhere now.greasedscotsman wrote:

So what is the "proper" inseam for the "seriously stylish cyclist"? How is it determined? Is it a simple dimension from your crotch to your knee divided by some number? Or is it more technical than that? Possibly taking into account shoe style, frame type, bar width, tubular or clincher tires, number of spokes, carbon or aluminum rims, etc.?0 -
Is this better?

Ah yes. Back in the day when no one worried about whether their frame, fork, seatpost, bars, and wheels would crack due to a small scratch.0 -

I know the one as I posted it. I have it on file somewhere. Ill try and dig it out when next on my pc. I agree it is a great photo and an unusual one to see pro cyclists in. They are very good friends.Contador is the Greatest0 -

Haven't you got some carbon bars on your Gios Dennis? Best go and check them for scratches straightaway...0 -

Yes I do. The difference is I trust them. Unlike what seems to be quite a few people who post on this forum. They buy carbon parts / frames then freak out at the smallest of scratches. I have a hard time understanding why these people bought a carbon anything in the first place. And have they never taken a look at the bottoms of their carbon soled shoes? Scratches and gouges all over the place(most likely).:?0 -
