Remind me again folks, which descent is this? The one where Bertie fell off or the one where there was an all mighty thunderstorm? Coasta won both those stages.

    Where Bertie met tarmac
Where Froome unclipped and gave Bertie the evils
Where Bertie gave a sarky thumbs up to Nairo for not holding up the pace etc....at which Valverde took umbrage and clattered over to the Saxo team bus afterwards to have Spanish words with Bertie about it

    That one.

Cheers dears. That was good stage that, for all those reasons.

Some of these riders are really far too sensitive. Now Meersman flounces out over an inadequate musette.

I'm guessing from the profile we can expect Nibs to try and attack on the descent for a change.

He needs to do something. He got dropped like 2nd period French on Stage 2.

Stage 4 is a classic. Descent into gap...ASO love this one. It can produce some very exciting solo wins.
    And career-stalling crashes.

Will this be a repeat of the finish that Vinokourov won a good few years ago now (and the famous Armstrong off-road incident)?

    Beloki Bingo.

When will it get its first mention?

Will Kirby get the corner correct?

Kirby has an amazing knowledge of how good a descender every rider in the peloton is.

Beloki, was he there? Based on previous commentary I thought it was just Armstrong being a super star because he rode across a dirt path.

It's a great shame that an essentially career ending crash is remembered for something else.

He'll get a row from Frenchie for leaving his jersey unzipped though, that'll take the shine off things :(

Yeah he looked fine. Not the trickiest of stages for them though, no matter what BrianS says.

No wasn't so tricky but he did set a fair pace on the climb, so that's a good(ish) sign.

He can have one of these tonight...
