  • If Mr Morton spent as much time training as he did posting arty farty pictures on his Instagram account he might be half decent.

But how nice are those pics, you can forgive almost anything :D
  • Rein Taaramäe to Astana - big step up for him and his potential.

Wasn't there talk of him joining Sky a couple of years ago? He looked a real prospect back then but hasn't shown much since.

    Probably another helper for Aru!

He went very well at Tour of Turkey but wasn't great in the Tour. First year of his breathing problems being fixed though.

  • Navarro isolated at Cofidis now - surely someone wants him - he was at Astana for a bit

There was talk of him going back to Tinkoff. Or maybe one for Alonso if that ever happens.

Ruben Fernandez (2013 Avenir winner) signs for two years at Movistar.

Poels will not be at OPQS next year. He is a great rider and the next team will have made a good move. Rumour is Sky. 'big chance of signing with the biggest team in the World'

Still waiting on Konig official announcement.

Agreed. The documentary talked about in the Cycling Tips article is well worth watching too.

A twitter rumour (from a proper journalist) says that Bretegne Seche are trying to sign a former Grand Tour winner.

    My guess is Andy Hampsten

Gazzetta reckon that Betancur is off to OPQS and Kiserlovski is another going to Saxo

Guess they feel Uran can keep a good eye on him.

I wonder if this will be announced. Trek's Guercilena saying he is leaving as they didn't find an agreement.

Is it me, or are a lot of fringe GT contenders now just signing for the superteams to support the main riders int he Tour? Astana, Sky, Moviestar, Tinkoff all with massive amounts of climbing support for their leaders. Will it make for super-fast mountain stages with teams burning off these riders one by one next year? More so than now...

The roster will be complete if @f_cancellara would sign with @tinkoff_saxo .
Common Fabian! I leave to you THE# to fill into the contract.

Is openly tapping up riders allowed in cycling then?
  • The Mourinho of cycling is our Oleg.

Openly taps up other teams assets for his own gain and publicity.

    I don't know if missed these, since they all appear to be rumours;

Nick Nuyens to Wanty, Stef Clement to IAM and Wouter poels to SKY ?

Poels was mentioned but not the other two. Do not like or rate Nuyens at all. Not surprised he would have to downgrade.

I admit that i'm not someone who dislikes any particular rider, but what is it you dislike about Nuyens? He seems to have had a pretty decent career, though he's obviously making a step down for the last few years as a pro, so maybe the WT teams share your views.

Master at wheel sucking and skulking. Shows almost nothing most of the year. Never see him being a good helper when he is not the front runner. No personality so no good for sponsors.

Still cannot accept he robbed Chavanel or Cancellara out of Flanders.

Vaughters when talking about Team Cannondale indicated that Nuyens remained contracted to Garmin/Slipstream for 2015...

I would like to work with him and help him develop - Knaven on Poels.
Well I hope Sky have learned their lessons by analysing their mistakes and other teams successes with young riders.

Where's Dowsett going to be in 2015? Not delivered as much as he hoped at Movistar (nominated Eneco GC leader in '13 and '14) - Giro TT and Commonwealth TT wins. Must be worried his contract won't be extended?

I think Dowsett will have to take a step down this year coming, Can't see any reason why a top tier team would take him on.

Maybe be a good thing for him.
It's not so much about winning, I just hate losing.
