    Not what i meant but I'll go with it.

    I wasn't sure if it was a screw type thing or a load of circular saws which were all parallel but at varying distances apart.

    Does it bore a hole then which something screws into? The teeth look like they're for wood

    From the spacing of the blades I'd say it's something to do with cutting the grooves for the frets on a guitar neck. But I can't explain the odd sized blades at either end. :?

    Yay, over to you Graham. It is currently set up to cut the frets on a Mandolin. The end blades cut the ends of the fret board.
