What did Martin manage to crash on? Slippy road markings?

No idea. It looked like someone who had just had thier stabilisers removed.

I genuinely dozed off from about 20km out. When I briefly woke up it appeared that Pozzo was having a go but I'm assuming it was just another Aredennes bunch sprint in the end? I used to love the 'Ardennes' classics but the 3 races have become the terrain of the climber with a sprint. Give me cobbles and cross winds any day!

Didnt even know Gerrans was riding this. The 100th LBL as well. Definitely not done it justice.

Not sure Movistar played that well. If you have Weening and Gerrans in the group you don't wait for the sprint.

Weening was very important in that final 5km.

It's difficult to describe how awful that race was. In fact, the whole week.

Cobbles definitely outdid hills this year.

I don't think anyone else cares. You could go on their site later to find out.

Glad Eurosport just faded Gerrans out - sound engineer prob thought it was the high pitched whining sound of feedback...

How so? Surely their season is built around a cover song video and some high tension larking around with a bus :D

I saw him right near the front with two team mates 30km out. I think people see what they expect to see, label a rider as a wheel sucker and you see that. Others do the same with Valverde.

It was a lousy race but the outrage that a Gerrans win inspires is always entertaining.

Yep. I do usually like Amstel Gold and Liege Bastogne Liege but there was no contest. E3, FLanders, DVV, Roubaix, even the Omloop were miles better than the Ardennes classics this year.

I'm guessing everyone else had the same annoyed, disappointed feeling.

Yea, can't argue with that. Dan Martin mightn't have won that but it would have been damn close. It looks like his rear wheel slipped out. Let's hope he has better luck at the Giro.

    Arredondo attacked twice today.

A shame the peloton soft pedalled the first 200km so were fresh as a daisy to pull his and other's like Barguil back.

That was genuinely dull. Could have done with a bit of rain or something, riders weren't making it interesting by themselves.

Ah there we go, was wondering when you'd start on that.
  • My 1st watch of LBL - caught last 30k. Jeez, that was dull compared to PR.

What the hell happened to Martin ?

What is this "Ulrika Green Udge" that Kelly keeps mentioning ?

Sky at the team presentation. See every other team properly represented. I hope they get fined.
