That's close for Yates! Losing KOMs to him feels somehow easier now

Taramae with a teammate in same time as himself.. That's not very good teamwork.

Yates takes it without getting out of the saddle. They were super close at the end - not sure why he didnt give it some sprint at the end - not really acceptable unless he was totally cooked.
 He's 21 years old; it's his first pro win. Give him some slack....

I am a huge backer of these two brother fyi.

Yates bros tearing it up this season. Proper good lads too. Huge bonus for their careers that they didnt join Sky.

Come on.. It was a mighty impressive win but to stop peddaling was just silly..

In that case 'acceptable' isn't a word I would have chosen.

Simon definitely got a better style when he is climbing but Adam sure knows how to get the effort right.

He wanted to enjoy his first pro win properly. I know I would. He has enough time to learn not to do something like that again

With @SimonYatess watching @AdamYates7 win that stage! He said his bro would celebrate before the line! Got it though! Screaming at the tv!

Superb by young Yates. There must be so much agony and ecstacy in the Yates family at the moment. seems like both brothers could have been podium contenders. A bit like the Schleck brothers...[taxi for Peril please]

He'd probably been dreaming about his first pro win ever since his stabilizers came off, so it's understandable. Luckily he didn't have to learn the hard way.

Yates seems to have had packed plenty of racing in so far this season - looking bombroof

still hard to fathom how quickly he/they are rising through the ranks

    Saw Simon win on Haytor

Followed Adam's results at CC Etudes

Tracked progress and watched video highlights last year of both brothers doing the business for GB in various U23 races

It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling for the future of British cycling. Contenders that are up there producing big results at the same age as their European counterparts.

Must admit I always expected Simon to be a really good pro, but I thought Adam would be sort of pack fodder if he made a World Tour team. Then L'Avenir happened! Very happy to have been wrong.

Although ’only’ second, it’s a good result for Formolo too – he also has the potential to be a top climber or GC rider.

Terrific from Formolo. Future of Italian climbers is in good hands with him, Aru, Villella, and others.

He will probably get a shot of that and frame it. Note Formolo unclipped.

Yate's and Formolo's ages add up to Rebellin's.

Why is Formolo unclipped in that photo?

Just one of those things that can happen when you sprint I guess.
