Newbie...went up to Scotland for a week, couldn't take my new bike, hired one from the shores of Loch Lomond. Did 20 miles on it, the most in one hit in my 4 weeks back in cycling. Was with my family so couldn't go hunting for a road bike to hire.

See that Forest in the far distance? On top of the hill to the right of the windmills? I came from there. Over hte mountain. And, to get to that Forest was all fire trail, big rocks and gravel.
