Took a ride to Walworth today. I hadn't intended to go that way but I've had the route in my mind for a while as a little goal to aim towards. I went through the woods first before I decided to head that way, so I added a bit extra distance to my 'goal'. And downhill all the way home!

Finally made it to the mountains.

It is also an even more awesome descent!
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Well like I said, no epic mountains here, although this was on a little plateau, but only about 120m high.

About as near to perfect 25miles as you’ll get!
Ridden it the last two Hols in May and will make it number three next year.

Unless I’ve just woken up from a 50 year post-apocalypse coma, that’s not the same Walworth as the one I used to live in.

Agreed, it is cyclists perfection....smooth tarmac, considerate traffic, warm weather, challenging climbs, fast downhills.....been there 10 years running, heading back again in October. :)

Awesome. Not in a Bill & Ted way. Actually awesome.

I'm sitting here at my desk but I can almost smell the alpine breeze and imagine that top of the world, slightly surreal, ringing silence. Properly jealous!

Thanks Keef. It was pretty special up there, away from the noise and tourist tat. This is the view looking the other way, into Switzerland.

Poor quality pic. Hadn't quite realised how huge my truck is/how tiny my bike is...
