Astley Moss, near Wigan. The photo was taken on the Bridgewater Canal. I've cycled down there dozens of times but it's never been as beautifully peaceful as it was early on Sunday, being occupied by families of swans, ducks and herons before the daily influx of humans. It almost rivalled the sight of hundreds of dragonflies and damselflies at the reserve.Pinno wrote:
