OPQS do a 1, 2 on Izagirre and TM is away with 11 km to go and still over a 1min gap.

    He's gonna do it
  • Better coordination than any of the OPQS boys managed in the classics.

Martin even managing to stretch his lead on the bunch a little bit,.

Lost a tiny bit of time on that climb, but he's so much better than the GreenEdge chase....

Game's up for the sprinters so the GC guys have a go. Can Valverde use Izagirre up front to get any sort of gap?

Go big Tone. Gil really needs to finish ahead of peloton to give him motivation for Ardennes. Not going to happen.

Martin's gaping jaw has never seen a wind tunnel, obv. Monster.

Great result for Tony Martin and he takes the stage. Swift & Quickowski 2nd and 3rd?

It really hurts not having a former Pro/World Tour rider on commentary ... Just talking over gaps in first hand experience detracts hugely from what is great racing ... Another brilliant stage, which was better than the parcours suggested it was gonna be ...

Don't know why he doesn't give Roubaix a go.

Was that one of the Schleck brothers coming in 4:30 down? I could be wrong but it looked like Andy. He has some hard work to do before the Tour if it was him.

Yep, interview in ProCycling suggested that he won't do cobbles if he can possibly avoid it

At this point, I think the only Tour that would seem a reasonable goal would be the Mzansi Tour

4:30 down on a rolling stage is a pretty decent performance for Andy Schleck these days.

Anyone know what happened Pete Kennaugh yesterday? Thought he'd be up there mixing it with the GC boys, was a bit disappointed to see that he finished 18 mins back.

Wonder kid, touted as the man with the incredible numbers, just gave up. He knew he couldnt roll with the big boys and didnt fancy helping his Spanish colleague in his home race. Or something like that.
