    Yeah, I'm a big fan of Orla. Brings a fan's sensibilities to cycling coverage, whilst being a proper journalist and anchor at the same time. Also very amusing.

    Probably the wrong thread for this, but who are the riders on the bikes in the Zwift ads? Obvs I recognise GT, but who are the Alpecin Fenix and SD Worx riders? Presume the riders in the white tops are just "nobodies".

    I'm sure there is one with Justin Williams of Legion but I don't think it's been on during the Tour.

    Yes I think the white jerseys are nobodies. Bit weird they didn't give them the orange jerseys from the game itself.

    MvdP for Alpecin. Isn't it van der Breggen for SD Worx. Not sure which of the adverts are running in the Tour - they come up on half my YouTube videos as well.

    Oops, should have picked MvdP. But they have helmets on and I'm not very good with faces etc hence the struggle to place them both. I've watched plenty of races :-)

    Tried scanning through the team photos but they looked different when standing in photo shoot pose!!

    One of them is Rahsaan Bahati. He is a legendary crit rider from the USA. He is a forerunner of Justin Williams/Cory Williams of Legion of LA. Or used to be at least. I haven't seen the ads in a while.

    That is disappointing - I wasn't really aware of her before I had access to ES, and wasn't sure about her at the beginning, having really liked Jonathan Edwards who was anchoring at the beginning (for me) but she is awesome, genuine fan, great knowledge, and creates exactly the right atmosphere in the studio, but without asking those horribly basic questions (When they do actually know the answer to what they are asking but think they are doing it for the benefit of the viewer) in the style that someone like clare balding is prone to do.

    I think there's a lot more confidence in the way cycling's broadcast (in the anglophone world) now. ITV upped their game a few years ago and it's provoked Eurosport / GCN into a response, partly by the latter (seemingly) concentrating on more committed fans who maybe don't need as much explaining. It actually felt a bit odd when Dan Lloyd was explaining echelons, as that seemed to be the sort of thing ITV would feel the need to do (probably with Chris Boardman looking a little daft).

    That said, it was the first time the penny dropped for me about why a cross-tail is the most dangerous wind direction, though Dan didn't actually explain that bit, so...

    I'm still not convinced it's AvdB in the ITV4 advert in the non-world champs SD Worx kit. Will need to screenshot tonight as I can't seem to find a clip of that one.

    Yeah, but then why isn't he wearing Legion kit? Perhaps he wasn't with them when it was filmed.
