I was wondering if they were just going to leave that poor old dude on the stage holding that jersey.

Nice to see Kevin Reza thereabouts. watched (or did I?) the finish on Youtube, definitely Spanish film noir camerawork.

Didn't see it and Cyclingnews don't give any clue as to how a group of 13 lost all that time. Crash?

Some just got dropped on that final climb. Plus Sky race report saying that Porte's not 100% (still not completely over whatever he got struck with during T-A? dunno) - hence shot of him at the back of the bunch on that climb. Two team mates shepherded him to the finish.

Dont know why one Giant Shimano guy dropped over 6 mins.

Got to be something wrong with Porte or a mechanical. No way he would get dropped under normal circumstances. Shame but means Froome will get less support making it better for the fans, unless he recovers.

and right on cue, Txurruka is off

    CALLING PAUL 8V!!!

The preceding 130km before he heads off in a stage, must be sheer torture for him
Sorry RR, only just seen this, a valiant effort, which is more than can be said for the camera work!

I'm quite happy with the Catalan ticker.... :D

    45k, 2.30mins.

Maxim Belkov (Katusha), Michel Koch (Cannondale), Thomas Voeckler (Europcar), Tomasz Marczynski and Marek Rutkiewick (CCC Polsat), Jerôme Baugnies (Wanty)

 Very good. Nibali obviously had a heads-up and opted for some MSR screen time instead.

I really like the Saxo kit - very easy to pick out in the bunch.

If Contador rode around in a potato sack, a pink tutu and a fez, you'd like it.

It is easy to pick out though.

That looks like the ridiculous 40 page form I just had to fill in to gain my Dutch Higher Education Educators qualification.

    Anyway, lovely weather in Catalunya.

And what's this about Titchy Richie climbing off? Someone needs to tell Carlton.

Someone, somewhere (probably the Lampre kit manufacturer) has just read that and started on next season's design!

The Tinkoff-Saxo kit is very 1997 ... The more I see of it the worse it gets ...

Really hope that Tinkoff doesn't merge with Cannondale, their kit is bad enough as it is ...

Carlton finally confirms. I'll pick him up some Toblerone at Schiphol tomorrow.
