Quickly edited but still wrong, he's off the front.

Guess why? The UK commentator called him off the back.

I should pull up the French feed.
When he said "off goes" he meant he was going off up the road, not off the back. This was backed up by the pictures of him riding off the front.

Make sure you watch the replay ok? There was a Sky rider off the back - he called it as Lopez. Then a few shots later a Sky rider attacks and then he correct himself.

Meanwhile. Frank and Spilak are on the descent with a 10 secs gap. 12kms.

That climb just about summed up the whole race. Nothing much happening.

Stybar is not in the small group and will slip back down the GC if he doesnt rejoin. He is not getting help.

16secs for Frank and Spilak. Spilak is only 39 secs back. He got a 2sec bonus and there are 10 for the win.

Absolutely no one helping Stybar. Nibali is sitting pretty on his wheel with Fugslang in the group up front.

You must have been watching a different UK feed to me.

Anyway, the real story is that Frank suddenly likes descending.

Nice to see a Schleck remembering what it means to be a pro cyclist.

Well that was a bit of a shambles.

Costa down. Frank almost nicks it and Vichot takes Rojas in the "sprint".

    WTF? Frank Schleck!

    Chute. Costa down.

    Schleck caught.

Costa not looking good. Nasty nasty chute. Rainbow curse.

OH FFS Vichot takes it. Frank Schleck caught with 5m to go. Good on you for trying hard - a real shame you didn't win. Just a sprint behind from those who rode wheels.

    Costa crashes. Doesnt look good.

Yes I know but he sustained it down the hill without falling off or loosing his nerve.

Many congratulations to Betancur. Two wins, one third and the general classification. All this when he is not at race weight. Not seen one piece of congratulations to him on this entire thread which is a shame.

At least Vichot took it and not Slagter again - had enough of those Poc glasses even if I like him as a rider. Vichot tried on two previous stages.
