I've just had a tedious meeting. To pass the time I came up with some more clues:

The outside broadcast zeros in on cyclist (4,3)

Great Scot, stop the tomb raider! (6,9)

More of Rich's stewed dog? (5,6)

Swallowed by a whale, I added a vegetable side for the team (5,9)

Superhero video on demand scrambled with silence in the middle (4,7)

    Super.

Don't think the 'ar' for artists and repertoire/scout will pass a PBo inspection. Still. Passed a few mins.

right, despite the fact that clearly these are all clues for pro cycling related stuff, I'm afraid that some of you are NOT following the rules!

a cryptic clue needs the answer expressing twice, once as the very cryptic bit, and another description of what you are looking for.

so the orica greenedge clue, is fine, because the whale/veg/side bit gives you a "team".

the matt goss clue is wrong, as it only corresponds to the cryptic bit - maybe some MSR reference needed as the cross check...

    ....and breathe!

actually the orica greenedge clue isn't fine, because the swallowed bit is an irrelevance.

Think this one is still to be solved

I think this one was probably a bit tricky especially as there is no chance of any crossing letters. Anyway, given how many clues there are I thought I should give the answer. See below.

.... I did say that there would be complaints from Ximeneans

(Secretly, I agree, but as this a pro-race forum bringing up Ximenean rules is going to be like correcting someone's grammar)

To make it up to us, PBo could show how it's done, supplying a classically cryptic clue to which the answer is Zdnek Stybar.

I sort of agree, but that mostly applies to general crossword clues. There's only so many ways you can describe a cyclist, so including it every time becomes a little cumbersome. I think by now it's implied unless otherwise indicated.

No, the swallowed bit it crucial as the 'I' is swallowed by the 'Orca' (the whale)
