Ahead of this weekends usual Chelsea dominance over Arsenal and guaranteed 3 points for the Champions :?, it is nice to see Arsene and Jose finally admit their true feelings for one another.

I think you lot should have been a bit more careful  Although you were lucky not to be down to 8 by the end.

The Champions are back in business

Not seen it yet, Was too busy running my Legs in the Equinox 24 challenge at Belvior castle. But every neutral I ve spoken to reckons Costa is a cunt bucket. Suppose someone has got to take the lead now Terry's not playing so much.

Maybe he was lucky but Koscielny was bloody lucky, it probably should have been 10 vs 8 rather than 11 vs 9, not a lot of difference in the end. Listening to it on the radio sound like we had the better of it but 3 points is 3 points.

And to cap off a cracking day, Shitty are back to being, well, shitty :D I hope City Boy hasn't sold the rock he was hiding under last season

  • I thought Diego was brilliant today, the hardest working player out there. Just take a look at his heat map.

I'm not sure you really accuse me of hiding

Having watched both the Cheatski game and the City game I can safely say they was far more optimism to be gained and certainly more honour in City's loss than Cheatski's victory.

West Ham defended fantastically and had the run of the ball today, but City put in a fantastic performance and I don't have any concerns for the rest of the season.

On the other hand, Costa is a despicable piece of work and I would be gutted if he ever rocked up at City. I have to give Mourhino credit though. He's realised that he can only beat teams with 10 men and he's got Costa and Hazard well drilled in getting fellow professionals booked and sent off!

I'd rather lose trying to win and play attacking football than win by cheating!

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

His attitude is fine by me :D Although maybe the forum self appointed moral judge of footy players and teams should have a word with the team that got two men sent off today

I felt for Arsenal today, they were badly let down by the referee. If he had given Costa the red card he undoubtedly deserved (twice!!), then Gabriel would have remained on the pitch. Had Costa been sent off then the whole pattern of play would have been different and it is unlikely that Cazorla would have been sent off.

Not sure arsenal should have won, and the cards were there to be picked up but Costa is a charmed man, pretty sure his shit behaviour is getting to higher levels each week his form dips

    So what happened to city?

Agree - we were better than Arsenal. Pre season friendlies aside, its the same old story

And there's nout classier than getting two players sent off...awaits the Pinno version of events.

Nout? You gone back to supporting the Boro? Chelski might beat 11 this season. I take my hat off to Jose though, Jon Terry in the stand and Costa subbed, even he cant stand to field a team of Cunts for too long!

Costa is a tw@t. Why doesn't he just try and play football instead of acting the goat? There was an off the ball moment with Costa later in the game that should have resulted in his second yellow. Wenger should make an official complaint about the hands it the face moment.

I hope Pedro is suitably impressed with the company he now keeps.

  • How many red cards is that now during Wenger's reign? 102?!! Something disgraceful like that. We'll have no preaching about class from that lot. Cazorla, two definite yellows. A bit pointless and stupid saying if this had happened then that wouldn't. It did he went. As for Gabriel, what a div! Hook line and sinker.

John Terry must be relieved. Diego has now taken over from him as the anger magnet for bad losers.

Like I said above, Arsenal were lucky not to be down to 8 men so you have more tw@ts than than us  Or was everyone like Arsene and 'not see' two Arsenal sendings off and the Koscielny incident with Oscar?

The ref fell for it. hook, line and sinker as he didn't have control of the game.

I see the Chelsea tag team have crawled out from under their stones

  • Yeah, funny that. Not a single Chelsea fan posted here during last weekend and now they can't talk enough. If you want credibility at least have the balls to front up when it's not going so well.

Methinks that by tomorrow morning Costa will have taken Suarez's place as the league panto villian.

At the end of the day, you won and we lost. Three points to Chelsea, elevating you to a lofty 13th in the League. I didn't see anything from you today that makes me think your on the up, or you will be a force.
Your just a bunch of cheating cunts.
And as others have said its taken you a while to chirp up!

Wengers reign? is that since 1996 so getting on for nearly 20 years at the end of this season! so 5 or 6 red cards a season. About the same as Clubs Jose has managed in that time!

You're very welcome, my learned friend :D

It's not just me though. Take a look on The Shed End...there's plenty of Chelsea fans agree with me, and a few more who seem to be tiring of Costa's behaviour. Maybe then, based on your line of thinking, you've got a few closet Arsenal fans amongst your ranks

I did say above that Costa was probably lucky not to be sent off. But when you're playing a team who get 2 players sent off plus another one who was very lucky not to be sent off and their fans start whingeing about unfair play, it does sound like a massive case of pots and kettles. Plus a dash of sour grapes :)

I have to wonder why you were so quick to join in. Maybe you're a closet Arsenal fan?

Funny that because I did post last week. You should join in with the leftiebollox debates over in Cake Stop as they don't read my posts either before spouting off

To be fair to Stevo he did post through gritted teeth. Cornerblock must have been on holiday

  • Holiday! Yes that's it I was on holiday, no internet otherwise I'd have... you know. I actually did post before the game so it's not like I just piped up afterwards. Anyway I wouldn't be the first to go a bit quiet when things are not going well so let's not have all the hypocrisy. I thought the whiny bleating mob would be pleased that after winning it so comfortably last season we've actually been kind enough to give your teams a head start this time. Some people! Never happy.

I must admit though I do have some sympathy for Wenger this time. Mike Dean was out of order in not allowing him to substitute his players before they were sent off. Certainly be a lot more dignified and 'classy' than the Gabriel exit. What's he doing going back to try and continue the argument? Lost the plot completely. A steward having to go onto the pitch to escort a player off! Never seen the likes of it before. Strange there's no real mention of his behaviour, imagine the uproar if that had been the media's pantomime villain.

To be perfectly honest I know Costa could have gone yesterday, got lucky. As did Coquellin at Palace. That's football, some days it goes for you some days it doesn't. Diego is a proper wind up merchant, he gives it but he also takes a lot too. Lots of defenders have tried to wind him up but he's a bit smarter than some give him credit for. I believe he's not had a red since 2010. What was funny yesterday was watching Gabriel trying to provoke Costa into a reaction and it backfiring. He is certainly one of those players who fans hate but would adore if he's playing for their side, much like Suarez I suppose. Its a bit silly when you hear so called football fans coming out with comments like "ooh I'd rather not win if it meant cheating". Nonsense. We all turn a blind eye to things when our team gain the advantage, whether it's a deliberate elbow, getting away with a red. We're all hypocrites to a point. That's football though I suppose.

I may be biased but this so called best league in the world would be a lot duller without the likes of Mourinho and Costa. For a start what would you lot and the media bleat about? Anyway I'm off out for a ride, speak next time Chelsea win. :D
