Cheers. I think the lamp post section may just have over complicated things for him but if he wants, I can explain the theory of the lamp post.

My bike only has one ring in the middle so I suppose that makes the maths quite easy, even if the point is a bit theoretical for me"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

Signed up for the Marmot Pyrenean Classic Cols.
Now in serious training.
No beer or wine.
Single malts only.
Lovely. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

Point taken. Over an hour and a half of the BBC scrabbling to get any hard facts and repetition ad nauseum thrown in. Terrible reporting.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0

Thought you'd be on this one as well..."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

Watching French version of DIY SOS on NRJ12 while drinking red and eating liver sausage salami. The Hound is asleep on me, sprogs upstairs, TDV in civil war zone in Africa.
French TV rocks.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

The Woman in Black on E4 is pretty good."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

Just making a dent in the couch. Wish I had French TV.
TDV is where? Is that metaphorical?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
I must admit that French TV rocks - it's really nice - loads of bilge that just makes you smile. They're crap but really funny and nice with it.
Africa. Unfortunately not metaphorical. Should all be ok but waiting on call to confirm that flight out went all ok, so just keeping the sprogs ticking along as best as I can. My brother is also currently in Kurdistan if that helps to color my funked up family life a bit.
This situation makes my OPSEC reports at work quite interesting.......Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Plenty of work then.
Is TDV a medic? Medicins san frontiere or a mercenary medic?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Something like that. She's an assertive young lady is TDV. Put it this way: I've been around a bit and I'm ridiculously scared of her.
Now my brother: absoloutely no clue at all what he does. He's well sketchy. I neither know nor want to know. have seen some piccies and yup, what he tells our parents doesn't quite fit what the picture says.
Thinking about it, I actually have no idea what the hell both of them get up to when they are in random places, which they are very, very often. I think it's best this way.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Sounds just like my brother. He went all gooey eyed to Isreal, then Palestine, then Jordan on a 'peace mission'. He's neither in the consulate or an official ambassador.
I honestly thought he'd end up on the front page of the Mirror just about to be beheaded but if he got caught by a Jihadist they would probably pi$$ themselves laughing.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Mine would just be incredibly condescending to them before lecturing them about single speed fixies......Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

That's what some might say, to paraphrase Liam and Noel. And as much as you try and explain that the derailleur is the way forward they never believe its going to catch on. Much like this internet thing - trust me lads and ladies, its going nowhere. And in the case of my computer, slowly.
Right - the crackly crackly call has come in - I'm off to bed. 2 days until chaos returns. I mean organised female order................
Is it just me or is all this stuff just terribly, awfully, inconvenient?Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am
