Seriously how many times do we have to have this ridiculous conversation...
What conversation are we having? About powermeters usage? Better go and read again. This is a pro gear thread FYI.
Funny becasue none of the last 14 posts have been about new gear...We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

You two got anything interesting to post to this thread or you just popping in to talk BS then leaving?
It's so funny how you make yourself look stupid. http://macmuiris.com/image/79993312516
See that image - yes, the one of Contador riding a Lightweight disc which has been rebranded as a Zipp!
May be it's time for you to stop talking BS.
I cant see Lightweight logo there. Please point out where the logo is? If the logo isnt there then my point stands. If his team was sponsored by Zipp but he was riding a lightweight disc with no zipp logos but the Lightweight logo there then it would be silly. It isn't. Get it now?Contador is the Greatest0 -

The opposite side of the wheel has a layup with the letter LW in it. Even I'm not stupid enough to expect Contador to remove those layers of carbon fibre. Likewise, I don't expect Sky to scratch off the moulded Garmin logo from their bike computers.
You really are stupid sometimes, which is a shame, because in many other ways you add a lot to this forum.0 -

Yes, I read it, I thought it was a bit of an odd way of looking at it. If you think not obscuring every last logo of items you are not sponsored by (I assume Sky aren't sponsored by Garmin) is 'silly' as you are 'promoting them' then do you yourself take the logos off everything you own? It's only a 5cm long Garmin logo. I think your brain works in an odd way, are you sure you've got the latest firmware?0 -

I cant see a lightweight logo so I am correct. Dont waste your time arguing this poor point of yours. I will stop wasting my time replying to you as well as putting you on block so I dont have to read this rubbish.Contador is the Greatest0 -

Re. The Cavendish Spesh kit a few posts back ...
What makes him think that 'Green' should be his trademark colour? He's won the Green Jersey a grand total of once (and even then had to have the rules bent to keep him in the competition) ... Cooke, Friere, Boonen & Petacchi don't make claim to 'green' never mind multi-time winners ...
I know this is some marketing guys idea of maximising image in the UK where the TdF is king but tbh it only highlights how poor he has been at securing the jersey given his number of wins and placings in the sprints ... Don't get me wrong, I want Cav to be up there in the sprints and the Green Jersey competition as the more folk involved the more intriguing the racing and deserving the victor ... Just don't let the marketing guys make you look a knob just to get some extra cash (unless you want to be cycling's answer to Lady Gaga) ...0 -
The hole in the seat tube is to do up the seat clamp. They've moved to an integrated one like on the Scott Foil.***** Pro Tour Pundit Champion 2020, 2018, 2017 & 2011 *****0

I think you're reading too much into it, what colour do you think it should be that might be more associated with him? (I'd suggest beige because of the way his personality comes across when he talks).
It's only a colour in some marketing.0 -
^ Cycling is all about colour though (Yellow, Pink, Gold (red stinks), Rainbow, Green, Ciclamino) ... Lance hammered the snot out of yellow, but earned that right (revisionism aside) ... Alberto earned the right to have Yellow/Pink/Gold accents as the only modern day rider to win all 3 GT's ... Winning something once doesn't earn you the right to market yourself using cycling history (especially 2 years down the line)*
*WC is allowed to go for broke for the year he's champ0 -
Agreed you need to earn something but not sure you can argue with him using green unless he is deliberately alluding to the Green Jersey. McLaren have a Cavendish Green which they made when they did his car.Contador is the Greatest0

Why else green? Not the manx or UK flag, none of the teams he has ridden for have green etc.
A marketing guy has decided that that's what he's best known for when a) it isn't and b) he has not earned that right with one (dodgy) win ...0 -
OK, anyone with twitter feel like asking him?
Ask: Does the Green accenting in your CVNDSH kit allude to your Green Jersey Win? If not, why green?0 -

What am I looking at here? Is it a "decoupling" type thing like on the Domane? Or is it just a new frame?Red bikes are the fastest.0 -

And there's your childish solution - block anyone who calls you out.
The "I can't see it so it doesn't exist" is a common thought process of a 3 year old child. Oh, the parallels to your behaviour on here most of the time.
Please can someone quote my reply so that FF gets to read this ;-)0 -

Here's a question for you. Is there a colour that springs to mind when you think of sprinters in cycling?
I'd guess 'green' seeing as what you are arguing.
It's only marketing! Lance used yellow, although to be fair I think he's now swapped that to a shitty brown.0
