  • It would be interesting to know how many "race fans" have switched off now the Brits have disappeared. I quite like it as it reminds me a bit of when this sport was unfashionable.

Dan Martin still going, or is he out? Roche?

Both out. Dan had a crash, and couldn't quite catch up the front group again.

Is that Uran or Henao in the small front bunch?

Henao. He has the blue Sky hat, Uran has the white one.

    Thank you.
  • TV Tommy's such a pro. No need to look straight ahead when there's a camera bike to the side to gurn into.

Thanks folks. Shame, thought Martin in particular might have been able to do something on this course

He seems to be gurning with confidence. TV Tommy to go with a lap and a half left me thinks

We should have done a forum sweepstake on the number of finishers. It's going to be a pretty small group I think!

Yes not many Dickie Davies world of sport fans on here YP 8)

Watching it in the pub with the British team.
  • Argh I dont think Quintana is there anymore.
    Contador is the Greatest
  • 3 non-Brit Sky riders in the bunch - EBH, Uran and Henao.
  • This rain is nuts. So much for Sciandri saying it mostly showers in this part of the world.

Wiggins has booked a table for 1 so that he can sulk and be all moody like his other moody hero Mr Weller

I'm sure I remember seeing cyclocross from Leicester on World of Sport when I was a kid.

Argh I dont think Quintana is there anymore.

He's so tiny the rain actually eroded him away to nothing during the course of the race
  • Anyone seen Rui Costa?

Also, Pinot descending with the bunch on these wet roads, he's come on a leap since the Tour. Fair play.

    2 and a half...

I think Uran is already in an OPQS helmet.

Pre Tour Armstrong would be loving this so much.

Smart move by Italy - need to make up for taking on too much responsibility early on.

France watching wheels and following moves which is the best thing for them to do at this stage.

Beglium should have had someone good up with Visconti IMO

Decent Colombian contingent up there even if Quintana has dropped (I thought I saw him in the group but didn't see him on the time check). Uran, Atapuma, Henao and Betancur all definitely there.
