care to narrow it down a bit? it's 137 miles long.

Somewhere between London and Birmingham

    No

Although the main GUC runs from London to Brum as you rightly say, the picture isn't part of that section.

    That'll teach me

correct, Church Stretton in the background - the road is the Burway.

sorry, I've been out on the bike . I think the weather might be getting better at last. Puffins are in at Bempton and Flamborough.
I keep getting them because , I am beginning to realise, I am very old and have been to lots of places. I was a bit late on the great orme pic or I'd have got that too.
Church stretton used to have an annual fell run that I got dragged into once; and that was an exhausting day that I will never forget.

DSCF0470_zps5300f69a.jpgthis is a maize dryer and a local emblem.

the climate is said to be like cornwall , it is very hilly cycling but lovely quiet lanes. The octopus is served very rare and they are inclined to eat some terrible barnacles , but the rest of the food is really good.

i have not cycled in many countries with a digital camera.

very near to la corunna , that could be accepted if nobody gets it spot on. It is a fishing port along the north coast, very spanish, surf school on the next beach east.
I found the climate much better for cycling in summer than other parts of spain.
