John Gadret. How I miss your pink shoes and yellow kinesio tape. You are such a stylish fellow...

Apparently tomorrow's stage will finish after first d'Huez ascent if there is heavy rain. With rain looking like deciding today's stage as well, is it just me that thinks its a bit sh*t for a parcours to be so weather dependent? Heavy snow in the Giro is one thing, but if its dangerous as soon as it rains then a re-think is required.

No risks for Froome either then. Ok I expect him to be well off.

I was really excited for today's stage, then I remembered it was an ITT and I wanted to shoot myself in the face. Boring.

I think ITT needs to get binned, or at least have only 1 per Tour.

The mad rapper - how are you still posting? I banned this account?

Wait till your suspension is finished. No new accounts please or else I'll ban your ip.
I was wondering how long it would take you to work that out... seemed a bit obvious to me.

    NEW SKY CONTRACT FOR FROOME
Big news from the Team Sky camp.

BBC Sport's Chris Bevan reports: "Tour de France leader Chris Froome has agreed a new contract with Team Sky until the end of the 2016 season.

"'There is an agreement and they are just working on finalising some of the details at the moment,' Froome's fiancee and manager Michelle Cound told BBC Sport.

"'It should be announced in the next week or two that he will be extending until 2016.'

"The 28-year-old Kenya-born Briton has been with Team Sky since its inception for the 2010 season.

"His current deal runs out in 2014 and the new agreement would replace the terms of the final year of that contract and extend for two further seasons."

For Liggett and Sherwen, all riders are good descenders.

That descent is not going to be much fun with a cracked collarbone. Ouch.

Yeah it seems that "going downhill without falling off every 3 minutes" is enough to qualify you as a good descender in their book.

More just the way that froboz appeared, with remarkably similar viewpoints, moments after MR had his meltdown...

Apologies if this has been asked earlier in this thread, but is there a possibility that the top riders starting later could be affected by the weather so much that they would finish outside the cut?
Best time so far being 53 mins which at 25% would make the cut 66mins 15secs.

If I'd thought it was going to go as far as a suspension/ban I'd certainly have avoided pushing the Big George button.
Feel a bit bad about that now.

I'm not sure if wet descents are enough to stop @chrisfroome from winning this TT. I spent much more time climbing than descending!
