Who is the road captain for Sky this year?

It was Rodgers last year.. but now he's doing it for Saxo - and doing a good job!
    Geraint Thomas.

Saxo must be going back to old habits to put that much time into Sky on a flat stage!

That little uncat climb with 8k to go could throw some spanners in the works?

Anyone think Bertie will go for the stage win?
Sagan will go for the win.

If the group stays together and Cav isn't in crisis he should bag it.

He decides the 'on-the-road' tactics, but I imagine this role is fairly diminished now with race radios.
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

Essentially he is the coach on the road. In the movie Chasing Legends, about HTC at theTour in 2009, they split the peloton in crosswinds and the have the audio of Rodgers, the Road Captain, making the call, while e DS listen and then egg it on.

At least that nasty looking roundabout/kink in the road with 1k to go shouldn't cause carnage with such a small group.
