OMFG! I just came in my pants! That was AWESOME!
First the Lotto and OPQS trains going at it on opposites sides of the road is something I've always wanted to see. Then Griepel, Sagan and Cav all gunning it to the line.
That was amazing. Expletive! Expletive! Expletive!0 -
Beautiful leadout there for Cav.0
-
EBH second0
-
quickstep took that up really early.... impressive
greipel stuck in the air too early"If I was a 38 year old man, I definitely wouldn't be riding a bright yellow bike with Hello Kitty disc wheels, put it that way. What we're witnessing here is the world's most high profile mid-life crisis" Afx237vi Mon Jul 20, 2009 2:43 pm0 -
LOL! Sat at my desk at work, quietly going "Come on Cav! Come on Cav!" Then he wins and I scream with delight - everyone looking at me like I'm a lunatic!0
-
EBH 2nd? That's quite a result.0

I had to turn the sound off and not watch, I got too nervous for Cav.
But yay for him. I feel my purposeful picking of Sagan for PTP was what did it for Cav. I have sort of superstition.
But EBH eh? Beating Greipel. Who'd a thunk it.
Sagan was considerably faster than Greipel from that overhead.Correlation is not causation.0 -
Nice finish by EBH, picked the right wheel and kept decent speed to the line. Greipel faded at the end.0
-
Cav!
And Eddy Boss beats Griepel and Sagan Oh Eddy, you are such a conundrum :?0 -
I think the difference between Greipel and EBH is that Greipel pulled out of Cav's slipstream to try and win, whereas EBH sat on Cav's wheel all the way and seemed happy to settle for 2nd place0
-
Looking forwards to some photos of Cav, Greipel and Sagan line abreast all sprinting flat out. I'm looking at you FF!0
-
A handbagging for OGE from Cav0
-
Awesome finish :shock:0

Cav doesn't have a slipstream. He's diddy!0 -
We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

Filmon stream on the iPad on the bus kept freezing. Including at 100m out. Madness.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0

Great positioning from Biggles there.
Also, there have been quite a few crashes so far, and I've not seen a carrot in any of them, surely some kind of record?0 -

Love watching those overhead shots of Cav sprinting0
-
I love a Cav win. Seems his illness is not as bad as some thought. Bodes well for the rest of the tour.0

Sagan didnt close Cav down at all when he kicked. No sign of Kittel - was he out the back on the climb?0
