I like the guy, I just don't think he's a GT winner, if he does win a GT it will be the Vuelta. Either way, I still think he'll be a decent fit at OPQS.
Then again It's pretty much a proven fact that when I predict something, the opposite usually happens.

I was going to say exactly the same thing. I personally can't see Uran winning a GT except possibly a Vuelta with a weak field.
But then I thought, wouldn't I have said exactly the same thing about Hesjedal?0 -
BTW its a definite Uran's leaving, it came up during a Q&A with Shane Sutton and David Walsh this week.0

Wout Poels to Argos apparently.0

Which given both of their current condition is understandable.0 -

Ex-doper to a doping team. Sounds about right.
In the sum of things i'm not sure Astana can be called a doping team ... Last I looked they had less dopers than Garmin ...0 -

Last year Vino was negotiating with Andy but when Andy wanted to bring his brother, Vino walked away. Don't think anything has changed.

No, and there's the small issue of MPCC membership, which (on paper at least) prevents them signing anyone returning from a ban for two years. This rule may also scupper Schleck Jr's plans to be on the same team as his brother.0 -
Again, not really a transfer but Pip has resigned with BMC. More holidays in the new contract.0

Renshaw to OPQS according to cyclingnews: http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/renshaw ... ep-in-2014.
Not really a surprise, they clearly need someone who can think on their pedals in the last few kilometres. Anyone know when Beautiful Bernie's Sky deal is up? It could be the Take That reunion of pro cycling...point your handlebars towards the heavens and sweat like you're in hell0 -
Eisels contract is up this year. he has had a rough season hasn't he? Must have sucked to miss out the Tour team for sky but if job would have been similar to Stannard who has been doing well what what he does lately.0

Re Renshaw I read that when Cavendish went to Sky (told you it was a mistake but did you listen? NO!) he felt they didn't want him which is why he went to Rabo/Blanco/Belkin.'Google can bring back a hundred thousand answers. A librarian can bring you back the right one.'

That's good news; I know Tommy V is a bit marmite but it's nice to know the team's future is a bit more secure.0 -

I forgot to put in a hyphen - it should read 're-signed' and not resigned! Anyway the following post confirmed that I was (partly) right!'Google can bring back a hundred thousand answers. A librarian can bring you back the right one.'

Not sure if it has been mentioned already but Henao`s cousin, Sebastian, won the best young rider`s jersey at the Tour of Colombia this year. Wouldn`t be surprised to see him in the peloton here soon.
Again not sure if it was mentioned but Greipel, Sieberg, Roelandts and Debusschere renewed with Lotto for 2 years.
Zabel`s son, Rick, has signed with BMC.Contador is the Greatest0 -
There was a good piece on the Humans Invent podcast about agents and there riders.
Said it's a buyers market this year with around 50-60 riders looking for jobs if Vacansoleil and Euskaltel go under0 -
