He was probably the subject of a bidding war between Torky and Tabriz

Lay off them Iranians! But seriously, for all the rumours surrounding Tabriz, and I've insinuated knowing little too, they've not won their marquee race of the year twice and tested positive (TdQL)... Ayandeh and Azad university have had more positives going by memory. Although I think Sean Penn tested positive in Algeria and not Turkey.
They're nobodies favourites round here because they tend to be more recluse, so even the Indonesians and Malays don't love 'em. But since Wong Kam Po faded in the early noughties, Ghader Mizbani has been the dominant rider, and was for a large part of 2013 too. That isn't to say he isn't at it, but it isn't really a surprise they're still winning.0 -

they had better an oil pipeline, preferably refined, straight to my house. Otherwise, I'd just feel used.0

So...Astana have pulled out of signing Pellizotti...

Garzelli becomes a DS at Vini Fantini.
Gazzetta also reports that Chris Horner's agent Michael Rutherford has contacted the Neri Sottoli squad, offering the 42-year old Vuelta d'España winner's services for next season.

Aye, true, true. When you consider how much they enlivened the Tour in 2012 both they, and he, were a bit poor in 2013. I was hoping the World Tour licence might give them a boost.0 -
