Sad but not a massive surprise given the paucity of premier calendar road races. Hopefully both can be resolved over the next couple of years.0

Not so much when you think of it. Parker to rugby end-12, Steve Peters spending much of the week with LFC...I think its part and parcel of other sports wanting some of the sprinkle dust from British cycling.
As for Hunt himself...think its possible that he struggled a bit this year with the transition from track to becoming a DS. Sky's proved that coaches brought in from other sports can work very very well, but a guy becoming a DS with no experience whatsover of the road scene...hugely difficult challenge I'd imagine - for himself, for the riders and the team overall. There were a few murmurings of unhappiness about the instructions coming from the team car at Trentino and the Giro (though tbf Hunt was only one of the DSs at each of those races)0 -

Does Digger know that?
Could explain the miraculous improvement in Liverpool's performance this year.“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -

I find that Karol knows bugger all about cycling so I doubt it.
Apparently in Peter's first week there, there were at least 10 members of the squad who'd signed up for sessions with the Chimp one.
