Well, there is some snow falling at the finish, but no snow to be seen on the ground.

The rider being ambulanced away is Enrico Battaglin.

The excess of precipitation is flushing this Giro down the toilet.
    Tour of Norway, anyone?

This is like promising a toddler the world's most amazing, incredible toy and then on the morning they were supposed to unwrap it having to tell them that it was out of stock.

The loss of Sestriere means a stage win for the likes of Pozzovivo and Betancur much more likely in my opinion.

It will be quite an injustice to Nibali, and to a lesser extent Evans, if results for this Giro have an * for reduced mountains. Nibali has looked super strong and likely to handle anything at least as well as the rivals.

Declan misled us. Losing a bit of faith in his punditry.

Meanwhile, light snow falling at the finish.

No tv coverage at all confirmed. Fixed camera finish only.
    Tomorrow's stage a farce.
    Tuesday's stage also in doubt.
(hopefully they can salvage something positive from this. Possible Opora finish?)

Quite a ride from Trentin given how long OPQS pulled yesterday. In the break which still has 7m20s, 32km from the top.

Stood in front of an ironing board wading through a huge pile of ironing with the idea being I'd get brownie points whilst getting to watch a whole stage. Hopefully I'll still get to trade in the brownie points at least! Looks like I'll get I chance to get out on the bike tomorrow. And as I type ES have given up completely! Can anyone remember a season with so much racing getting wrecked by the weather?

Can't we blame the Chinese first? As they do more damage.

It's May, what does anyone expect. It's funny how everyone can put on their black and white glasses and look back to 88 and think the Gavia was amazing, when in reality it should've been canned.

By the time Chinese emissions ( ) per head match the level of the rich West, we'll be barbecued. The culprits are fossil fuel companies: more dangerous than big tobacco 8)

better find a Tour of Norway stream
