This climb doesn't look to bad from the rear camera, only when you see the front back shot how much the drop really is
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

Serry looks like he's collapsed on the climb, commentators think he's finished

Serry (OPQS) is looking properly spent on the floor there. Nice that the commentators saying they feel uncomfortable watching it, at least it shows some compassion.

Didn't see it, but I take it Rob Hatch does an American accent every time he pronounces "team 5 hour energy presented by Kenda", right?
Personally, I prefer a commentator who is polite enough to try and pronounce someone's name correctly rather than one who panders to the sensibilities of the jingoistic locals but ymmv.

It's not either/or. You can pronounce a name correctly without sounding like something from The Fast Show.
Except, on the whole, he generally does pronounce the names correctly, certainly the French ones. But, whatever, if it upsets you so much, whinge away.

Not just the heat, but the gradient.
Wasn't 9% like Hatch was on about, but over 14% for that last km.

Local weather stations there saying well over 40c. Think there should be a cut off when the race gets over a human's body temperature. Races are called off due to cold weather and this weather is not safe. Crazy stuff. Not good to watch.

44 degrees a few K's before they hit that climb. Just plain wrong.
