Anyone seen the Sky Sports highlights programme? Who is commentating, and is the programme as a whole any good?

How does it comapre say with the ITV TdF highlights show (which is quite good apart from Phil L's commentary)

Just different commentary and a bit too much Union Jack Underpants and / or Sky praising their own team.

That was the most disappointing stage of this Giro. Even I know to "be wary of the white paint in the wet". It destroyed what little excitement was left.

I know it was a 'Sprinters Stage' and intrinsically dull for the aficionados but I enjoy a sprint, just not one bloke ploughing.

Very poor commentary. And to think, some people on here moan about Harmon!

I'd even rather listen to Rob Hatch!

At times it is like this is the first ever bike race he's ever watched.

Great moment yesterday when he calmly summarised the GC table right after the finish and completely missed the fact that Wiggins was absent!
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

I love Time Trials too especially with a watch in my hand. Like Obree in the "Championship 50" going past Manston Airport and I had got to a lay-by before him.
I yelled at the other spectators that he was just around the corner and catching this guy for 5 mins (which he did).
The guy was the BBAR champion so without a watch it is boring if you are a couch potato.

Saw the Highlights of stage 5 and the crash on the Painted wet pedestrian crossing.
Did anybody notice the organisers had restricted the road width by letting the spectators assemble in the middle of the road.
Had they not been there, then that corner would not have been such a tight a turn.
Do they want these accidents because the TDF did the same in Brussels by restricting the width of the main road to half while approaching the Heysdal Stadium finish that Petacchi won.
