    Cav improvs his way out of trouble; Viviani, Goss, etc are beaten and handlebars get beaten in frustration.

    AG2R rider. Got back on his feet so with the way cycling medical attention works is was still breathing so presumably chucked back on his bike to finish.

    I'm sure back at the tour of Oman, Cav was moaning about the aerodynamics of the old specialized lid compared to other team's models. Maybe this has something to do with his choice?

    Sure does but I wasn't referring to him swearing as having character. Just in general - I really like his interviews. They actually contain information and entertainment rather than platitudes.

    Also if the UCI dished out points for swears in interviews, between Brad, Cav and David M GB would top the rankings by some considerable margin. Year after year.

    Thought that parcours was a trifle reckless. But starting with a road stage that one of the superstars of the sport could win was commercially smart.
