Bringing a dog to the race is stupid.

Standing behind the barrier while the dog stands on the circuit...monumentally stupid.

Froome helped Brad get the Tour, why isn't he helping him get the Giro too?

Sean Kelly sounding relaxed, engaged and positively loquacious. I'm enjoying this coverage immensely.

Wiggins looks ripped to the bone. Check out those arms. Pure function.

Wiggins should roll up to Cav and ask him to nip back to the car to fetch some bottles for the team...

I'd call it emaciated rather than ripped. He is at the limit of what he can lose physically. He really has no glutes ... could explain why he doesnt have an explosive kick :D

Yeah, I wasn't sure whether I was imagining it. He does seem more relaxed alongside Quigley, happy to answer his questions or mention something he's spotted in the race before getting back to the point Declan raised.

This is why he won't win.

Said it before and I'll say it again, opening a GT with a road stage is rubbish.

Have to agree. GTs must always start with a prologue. Road stage is a disaster

    And this is exciting?

I like prologues coz they're a good way of presenting the riders

It has the potential to be exciting. A prologue doesn't even have that.

Start on the Friday night with a TTT under streetlights.

A night-time prologue would be a compromise for me. As long as it's downhill. Over cobbles. And raining.

Ride? Or Eurosport Player, a cup of tea, a custard donut and recabling my bike....

    Long ride tomorrow then...

Prologues make sure we don't have 5-10 key riders crashed out by the first day or two...

Is Robbie Hunter the most invisible rider in the history of the sport, or is it just me?
