Presumably everyone left it to Sky to set the tempo up that climb although it's impossible to know since we didn't see the front of the peloton the whole way up.

Little bit like the last climb yesterday :-(
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

Or underestimated how good Velits was.

They had Dombrow on the front

Maybe Kiri is ill as well

Roche is so shite. He could have been in the break if he had the legs.

Not sure if he is safe. Bit of a flat before the last climb so if they work that gap could easily tumble & then go on the final climb

Team orders? Could be called in to ride on the front for Saxo at some point like yesterday

The break he was in wasn't allowed to go.

The Movistar train is very impressive and all but I'm not sure what they're trying to achieve. Will Porte really care who is setting the tempo?

Protecting QUINTANA on the GC, think they realise that a depleted Sky team cant/dont/wont do all the work.

Bert looking like he's getting ready for a fight on this climb, getting rid of clothing

Interesting stage, shaping to be a cliffhanger. Hope Velits gets rewarded. If Movistar had a plan it wasn't very successful.

Kiryienka on the front for Sky now. Looks like a few others teams jockeying for position getting into this last climb. Gap at 1:34 now with 8.4kms to go can't see the breakaway staying away
