Anyone worked out what europcar are doing? ? Brit commentators not helping me out.

Shelling as many of the favourites teammates so Tommy has a chance of a break?

    Beats me.

Yeh, but isn't that exactly what Fabian wants, but can't, due to his pathethic team?

Strange tactics - but good for the race.

Have you got a direct line to Klier's earpeice??

That's the best Flanders tactic. Just watch what Klier does, then do that

    Hmmmm chips... :)

And we have some Sporza commentary of Eisel taking off his overshoes.

I mean, if you're going to have a Greipel in your squad for this race, it's not a bad way to use him.

Well, they are not going to destroy half the team just to get first over the top with 120km to go are they..

You're right it's a standard tactic - but not with 120 to go. They wanted to close the gap to the breakaway to get Cousin in it. That's all.

You put 3 riders in the break and riders will get arsey if you don't work. Overweight in the break has downsidez

How narrow are Sieberg's handlebars? Reminds me of Hoy in the match sprint.

Wonder if they're putting more riders in their road positions in wind tunnels these days.

Strategic blunder by Lotto not to dress Greipel in the Flash Gordon helmet. Bit of a giveaway.

Look i don't wanna start an argument 'cos i'm too busy enjoying the race but surely you appreciate that 80% of anything that happens in Flanders is about positioning? Even at 120km. The other 20% is breakaway/tactical breakaways and actual attacking for the victory.

You can't 'save' your team 'til the business end. Surely you know these races don't work that way? If Voeckler stuck Turgot on the front then yes it would be strange. Same if Cancellara stuck Devolder on the front. But why not shove a few bottle carriers on the front so that your leader stays out of the crashed and splits.

There are few words that can describe that helmet.
  • Hummmm. I've got a deadline for a new website build first thing Tuesday, but I can't concentrate with these pesky cyclists in the corner of my eye.

Not sure what the client's reaction to "Sorry I didn't finish it - I don't often get the opportunity to watch dirty sweaty men, but my girlfriend was away, so it seemed rude not to.." but it's time to take a break from coding for a few hours, crack open a cider and enjoy the show.
  • Sep looks broken.

Pace has been high, peloton is nervous, even more reason to be at the front.

    New route to blame?
