Boring my swiss/Italian Ar*e!
To be fair our beef was with the route not the riders. We are now loving this however.
Mmm - ok I am not worthy Canc..
But it was some time coming.....and one bit of excitement over 5 hours does not a classic make
That's how one day races work
That's disrespectful towards the last month of brilliant one-day races.0 -
That was ridiculous...0

As for the race in general - 3/10
Honest question, what's a 10 for you?
I really enjoy tactical racing, so I've enjoyed this. 7.5"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Main group don't seem that committed - there's a spot on the podium up for grabs!0

Could someone pop round Frenchie's house make sure he's ok....“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0

Cancellara has a minute and ten seconds! :shock:Correlation is not causation.0

Bring back the bosberg.....this race like last year is Dull as Dishwater
There has never been a race decided on the bosberg"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

I hope all of those who chose RVV over P-R are hanging their heads in shame! A great performance by Canc but not as good an edition as this year's MSR0
-
Regardless of the route (which I think I can say after this year I don't like), no-one can deny that the last time up the Kwaremont and Paterberg is immense.
Definitely not a 3/10 though. Oooof that's harsh.0 -

I thought perhaps the main group were not going to help Sagan and rather catch them up in the final km...Scott Speedster S20 Roadie for Speed

He'll drop you 30m from the top and be 20 seconds ahead 500m later.
Yeh, same thing against Boonen in 2010. He had to work really really hard to drop Sagn there but when he did, by the next corner, he was well gone.0 -
He's really kinetic on his bike, i.e. not the smoothest. Maybe that's his secret to massive power.
Notice how he's not got rid of his bottle? Even in Cat 2/3 races you see guys throwing away their bottles.
Show's you there's nothing in it.When a cyclist has a disagreement with a car; it's not who's right, it's who's left.0 -
Well Cancellara's going to be breaking some eggs and eating some chocolate tonight! That's what he said he'd like to do before the start so I hope RSNT have bought him an Easter egg.Correlation is not causation.0

hiss. Boo.0

Cancellara looks like he could go back to Brugge and do it all over again. Awesome.0

Don't think i've ever seen a 10/10.
If Gatto can get back on after a puncture in the final 8km it shows the 'give up' attitude of a lot of the riders I really can't stand. This race was dull-as until 20km to go, and had been dull since Fabu gapped Sagan. I know that can be the nature of one day racing but it doesn't change my opinion.
I'm waiting for other riders to do something special but it just isnt happening.
Some rain might have made it better though.0 -

If you look at the power he puts through the pedal stroke he's one of the smoothest around apparently.0 -
Our feed just died before Fabs crossed the line. What did he do?Correlation is not causation.0

Just logging in to post my congratulations. I am so pleased for Fabian, he's had a crap time of it for a while. Nice to see him get a win.0

Evidently not...
Bit pointless for the group to battle for 4th etc...shouldnt they be trying to catch the other 2 first?Scott Speedster S20 Roadie for Speed

Wheely, pulled large easter egg from pocket, ate it one handed.... nothing spectacular0
