They always have plan B routes, no?

Why not decide BEFORE they start. Rather than during??

Last time it snowed in late March it was probably in the 1960s...

Bak still giving it large at the front. He's tough

Never seen anyone blowing hot air into their gloves. Tough but sensible too if its that cold.
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

Stybar calls this T Shirt weather.

Time for cav to get the cheque book out.

Great discipline from Cannondale. they are still towards the front and standing out like a pack of highlighter pens against everyone else's black rain capes.

Greipel has ALL his team mates plus Bak in the break. Looks like they win Belgian team of the day award.

I imagine last weeks epic was enough for him.

Maybe he just took a ride in the car for a few km, as getting a lift now seems to be a part of the race?!

@calcrutchlow it's bloody bonkers... Mark could do with some support from his 'best friend'. Looks so grim.

    Eisel?

To be fair to Boonen, if my main goal of tge season was two weeks away, I wouldn't be doing 8 hours in the wet at freeezing temperatures. Especially not if offered a get out

Crutchlow had a good day in the saddle. He came second in a sprint finish in today's RR on the IOM

Magnus unhappy about riders stopping and waiting for wheels. I think that says more bout the weather conditiions than anything else.

What time does the light start to go on the Med? They've got just under 50k to go and it's ten to five already.
