    I think there is a lack of sophistication to the Leinders posts. There is more sport to be had by looking at the Rabo 2007 team

    Danish paper DR's reporting that the Chicken's been given a 2 year ban

    I'll wait till official announcement before I go on the mother of all rants about derisory penalties for second offences and years of doping and denials.

    Interesting. Not least because as far as I know there was no official case against him. Lots of talk, obviously, and rumours he was planning a kiss and tell book for publication in a couple of years time, but this doesn't look like an official agency put a gun to his head. Maybe he's just jumping the gun as it would have happened anyway, sooner or later. But spontaneous confessions of riders that risk a ban because of it are rare as chicken's teeth.

    Just to be clear, that means Michael Rasmussen doped as a MTB rider and at Team CSC, Rabobank, Tecos and Miche - all teams except CWO.

    Well, at least he's being honest. It's a better admission than Julich or Levi who said they doped but stopped juuuuust as they won or had their biggest results...

    If he, in fact, does say that he doped since 1998, mind you. We'll see.
