Remember there's still hardly any money going into women's cycling, and this was an early season event. A large box of something looks probably more impressive than a handful of Euros.LutherB wrote:

Abbot won the Vuelta a El Salvador on Sunday. She won the race by a brilliant solo move on the final 15km climb on Sat up the San Salvador Volcano. She was 44 seconds adrift coming in but ended with a little over 2mins of a margin.Contador is the Greatest0

I prefer watching women race than men. I find the womens racing to be more exciting, and would love to watch more of it and would pay to watch live, but it is so hit and miss as to who is broadcasting0

Watched the women's Flanders highlights on Sunday, I think it's fair to say the women struggle with the cobbled climbs. I was surprised to see riders near the front of the race having to walk. I guess they are just a bit too light to ride them smoothly.0 -
