It does remind me of amateur races I did in Italy, where the guys got frames and other bike-related stuff, the girls got domestic appliances, similar to those pictured.0 -

That's a double shock a) that the men can win that much and b) that the women get so little. Anyone have figures for road (excluding GTs)?0

Abbot won the Vuelta a El Salvador on Sunday. She won the race by a brilliant solo move on the final 15km climb on Sat up the San Salvador Volcano. She was 44 seconds adrift coming in but ended with a little over 2mins of a margin.Contador is the Greatest0

So Emma gets the teasmade and the luxury fruit bowl then? Good ride by Pauline Ferrand-Prevot, letting her wings spread a bit without the boss around.BASI Nordic Ski Instructor

The old firm of Vos and Pooley back in action tomorrow in the Fleche Wallonne, I suppose the UCI will give us a 90 second summary on Youtube.BASI Nordic Ski Instructor

I prefer watching women race than men. I find the womens racing to be more exciting, and would love to watch more of it and would pay to watch live, but it is so hit and miss as to who is broadcasting0

I had to stop listening after 4 minutes. The interviewer can't stop giggling at the most ordinary things that Emma says!
It''ll be good to see Emma and Marianne back in action.

I thought the Beeb were supposed to be showing this on the evening of the event. No sign of it at all, not listed, no sign of it in the RT and not even on the web page reporting on the race!

Is Mauricio Henao related to Sergio?
Watched the women's Flanders highlights on Sunday, I think it's fair to say the women struggle with the cobbled climbs. I was surprised to see riders near the front of the race having to walk. I guess they are just a bit too light to ride them smoothly.0 -
