Frenchie- no ideas why I clicked on this thread but am I looking at an article about a competition to win the shirt? I have no other interest other than to say I approve.0

Haha I'm not too sure. She was a rider in the 80s I think. Still has an awesome figure.Contador is the Greatest0

Very good win for Lizzie Armitstead yesterday at Omloop van het Hageland. Beat Emma Johansson in a 2-up sprint.0

Nah the article says she is Femke Herygers, daughter of Paul Herygers, cyclocross world champ in 1994. So you can win one of his jerseys0 -

UCI Women's 2014 Season Trailer

In other news Sharon Laws is 3rd placed after the prologue of the Vuelta a El Salvador, with Hannah Barnes 31st, but just 51" behind. The next stage looks exciting in profile, but I can't make out the vertical; could be 1000m or 100m of climbing!

Great stuff by Lizzie and she won it in classy style as well. Great parcours for this race and from the 20mins of the race in this video it looks great:

No Vos ,,,,shallow victory.0

Bullsh!t. You can only beat the other riders in the race, not those sat on the sidelines.0

Your right Pross, It was a bit harsh. Lizzy can ride a bike, no dispute there.
Just Vos is so good. like the female Eddy Merckx.
It was not meant as a dig but totally come across that way
I take it back and if Lizzy is reading this, well done , great win.0 -

Very odd. Who would have thought you'd dedicate your life to the sport and you win a hoover and a toaster!!! Really would have been worth not giving anything at all.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Probably something to do with the sponsors and there is hardly a surplus of those around for women's racing at the moment; perhaps the equivalent of sausages or a nice cheese.0
