Seeing as there is a winter bike thread, thought I would make one for summer bikes. Need some inspiration for my current summer build. Post em up 8)

Would love to post a pic...but as some tw*t removed it from my garage, I can not.
I received my insurance money in the form of a cheque on Saturday, thank you
NFU. I'm now starting the hunt for a replacement, don't know if I'll replace it
with an other Spesh Tarmac Sport or not yet. I'm going to enjoy the trips around
all the bike shops having a good look though.0 -

As long as you don't have them on in the summer that's fine

Surely if you've got an Ultimate CF then you want ultimate performance? Road pedals are so much better than MTB for the road! I understand if you're using the MTB pedals for the winter though

Well, based on my recent upgrade (if you're wondering, my bike isn't a CF racer so I think I was allowed to use MTB pedals ), road pedals/shoes are considerably more comfortable, easier to clip in, plus I can transfer a considerable amount more power through them than my MTB pedals!

How are you measuring that power? Do you know how stiff carbon mtb shoes are?My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

I've only used plastic-soled MTB shoes. You know what I'm trying to say! You're just being annoying :P

As its still summer here Im still riding the same bike as last year, (now with di2 stickers removed I have put a dab of paint on the tiny mark they were hiding) With the bike show coming up, Im off to london to have a look at what new

I use mountain bike pedals on my roadbike at the moment and I don't feel like I'm losing vast amounts of power. Helps if I need to walk anywhere when I get off as you don't have to walk like a retarded penguin! That said I will get some proper ones at some point...0

Here's mine. I should post a more up to date picture; these were taken when I bought it in early 2010. Since then I have fitted Keo Blades - oh and fitted a carbon railed Arione in reverse colours.
