  • Condor World Series steel frame with Veloce groupset etc etc. I've put this up on a thread of it's own (sorry if I'm getting over-excited!), but for anyone who missed it and is interested, here it is again.
  • Thanks all, i didn't mean to put across the idea of 2600 pound being cheap, but in terms of what it would cost for a UK bought equivalent, i thought it was cheaper, it has took me 6 months of work to get the funds, so not being able to use any of my money for nothing else than bike stuff was hard, but its a great sport to invest in!:D

Agreed, it looks better with black of which it now has. Originally had black, experimented with Red. The rear tyre ripped and then decided the red experiment was just that, and so changed both back to black Hutchinsons.

Here's my summer bike, in the winter.

Or is my winter bike. Waiting for the summer?

Who knows, it confuses me. I just sling my leg over and cycle the thing.

Please... don't tell me the Tommasini is your winter bike. I'm near Chester - I'd be interested to see the Tommasini some time (I had a Tecno that was too small), especially if it's a 56 and you might want to give it a good home! Can you put up a picture?

A timeless beauty. I can't see any modern carbon bike, or compact geometry frame looking this good in 20 years time.

That will be a Canyon bike then. Nice bike spoiled by the decals. I count 5 "Canyons" and presumably the same on the other side.

    Fantastic looking bike

I agree - white and black done right (it is poss to do it wrong). I even like the AC wheels and I'm not normally a fan of those.
Trampoline in the background is a smart move - mine was best £100 I spent on my bike hobby - nothing else comes close to improving my ride times - kids happy = wife happy = more riding time !
I'll be looking out for this one on our potholed Derbyshire roads !

    Looks like an Aliante.

    MTB - On-One Inbred

I have no idea what's going on here.

    Superb, thank you.
  • My 'race' bike for this year. Yes it's a Synapse which is a sportive frame, but I can't really afford a race frame for this year after the money I've spent on those wheels and various other items! I have managed to get a pretty aggresive position though through a longer/lower stem and new bars.

Had my first ride today in the sun since last October, and boy what a difference those wheels make! Saved approx 700g from my old wheelset so I'm sure you can imagine the benefits. No where near as nice as some of the bikes on this thread, but I'm hoping this will help attain a few PB's and personal goals this summer. :D

Love the bike, tried very hard to get one of these frames but no luck.
About the wheels, how do you like em? I have a very mixed up opinion about mine which have seen less than 10 rides so far. I upgraded from Easton EA70 wheels. Used $100 setup of 20k run Alex wheel front and near new Mavic Aksium rear prior to these.. combined weight of 2000g + The mavics feel sluggish still to say the least.

the fine peeople at workshop forums suggest that they will improve after a few thousand kms. The wheels must have seen at least 400-500kms so far.
