No Eduardo Sepulveda for Bretagne-Séché at the Tour: he's hurt his knee. Shame, because he's one of their best riders.

As diversion from the Wiggo stuff, here's a weekend Tour trivia quesion for you.

In the last ten years what has been done by Chris Froome, Mark Cavendish, Riccardo Ricco, Rui Costa, Geraint Thomas and Rohan Dennis (and about 14 lesser known riders)?

Missed a drugs test or failed to declare their location or failed to declare their location accurately.

Getting closer. On average about two riders a year do it, though. Four last year, none in 2012.

"No Peter Kenneth, Ian Standard or Dan Swift"

Who the hell are these people?

I take it you aren't familiar with UKCyclingExpert then? It's a satirical account taking the mick out of how British sports journos jumped on the cycling bandwagon, mainly in 2012.

Correct. A remarkably rare thing to do. Only about two riders per year do it.

Your Formolo post in the other thread got it for me!

It's such an impressive thing to do. Do you know how many of them actually finished the Tour in their first year?

Majka replaces Kreuziger, and is not a happy bunny.

    Paweł Gadzała @8aldwin · 4m
Majka says it was not his plan, he's tired nad didn't train much. "I am not ready, I don't feel ready..."
"Yesterday I got a phone call from Bjarne with the decision. I am not happy about it, I think the team doesn't care about my health."
"I am 24 after all, 2 GTs in a row is a big challenge."

My bet on Kreuziger to beat Porte is looking a little uncertain. (It'll be annuled)

It won't be annulled with many bookies. You will just lose your bet.

    Win what?

He could possibly win the TdF if Froome, Contador, TVG, Talansky, Bardet, Valverde, Nibali, Costa, VdB, Konig, Rolland and Fuglsang all get hit by lightening.

He can and I hope he gives it a good go but he's going to have his hands full with Contador and Froome if they're both firing on all cylinders.

To quote Paddy Power's rules: "Sports bets are accepted on a 'non-runner no bet' basis unless stated otherwise; in this case stakes will be refunded on a player or team withdrawn prior to the start of an event."

his main rivals are Froome and Contador - have you been following him this year? Only VdB is on a par

PP are just about the only ones who do that. I learned that to my cost last year.

I've watched every race that I could have this year, which is a lot. Mollema will do well to finish top 10.

I'd be amazed if any bookies are offering non-runner no bet on Tour bets.

edit: though I've just read the post upthread quoting PP's rules. As always Paddy leading the way.
