Haha.....i was expecting a little abuse.....still love what i do. My crewmate and i caught a burglar red handed night before last...remanded back to prison yesterday morning.....that's one less thieving prick on the streets to steal some kids xmas presents....doesn't happen that often but job satisfaction doesn't get any better than that0 -
Another copper here, in the MET helping Haringeys finest (not an assassin like i first said - although i wish i was). Currently festering in a front station office role due to my ongoing recuperation from a bad ankle injury from June! Jumped down from a fence chasing suspects, landed very awkwardly & thought i'd sprained my ankle. Carried on anyway, caught & nicked suspect. Turned out that i'd got a double ankle fracture & lots of lovely torn ligaments. Not exactly Point Break stylee!!!!Don't mind much, i get time to do my rehab & physio & also keep out of the cold. Been off the saddle since then, it's hard to cope with.0

Account Director for one of the mobile carriers. Account Director is basically another way of saying 'Account Manager' but who is even more to blame than usual when something goes wrong.
Regards the various coppers - one of my best mates has in the job for 18 years. Anyone who puts up with the sort of nonsense you guys do and enjoys it is a) not right and b) deserving of more public praise than you get.0 -

Haha yes we probably are all a little bit mad but we keep going.....it would be lovely to live in a country where they are proud of their police. Went to New York last year and couldn't get over the love they have for the NYPD. The press in this country seems to have a very anti police agenda sadly0 -
