Mind you, perhaps it does in some newspapers
Some people see them all as the same thing, what was it Katie Hopkins described boat loads of migrants as? She certainly doesn't seem to classify immigrants as human. Unfortunately some people believe what she spouts. I had to listen to someone droning on about asylum seekers taking all the jobs and illegal immigrants getting houses on benefits and taking all the money. After a bit more of his dribbling I worked out he was complaining about eastern Europeans, so perfectly legal economic migrants. He then finished his rant with "if it gets any worse I'm moving to France" not realising that makes him the same as the people he was complaining about. This bloke lived near Clacton, are there that many immigrants in Clacton? I doubt it, he's just a bigoted tw@.
I didn't think you were entirely serious, but that was a bit much. With respect to Orraloon's comment, I didn't think it was out of order as the Mail and it's readers vilify both groups equally. I know you will take a cheap shot as a bit of a wind up, but that one was unreasonable.

The bloke (?) you quote does sound like a moron'

    [
i]Seriously? Do you really think anyone would defend paedophilia?[/i]
Do you really think Mail readers equate illegal immigrants with paedos?

Both seem to be viewed as sub-human by the paper so in some ways yes, not by all readers I'm sure.
The bloke I quoted is a moron, but he's not the only one like that. A lot of people see all immigrants in a similar light and can't differentiate between them.

This was a cartoon in 2015 in the mail

    2E82312A00000578-3321431-image-a-133_1447721942823.jpg

I had a classic conversation with my mother in law.

I think she feels bad for voting Brexit, and I've certainly let her know what a pain it's been for my side of the family.

Anyway, she was saying how these stories of people who've lived and worked here for 55 years now being deporting for being illegal immigrants. She said "we just want the criminals to leave, not the good foreigners" I asked her where she suggested the criminals go back to and she said "where they came from". Why would those countries accept criminals; surely they'd want to export theirs too?

She told me to leave it and change the subject.

Which one would your average Daily Mail reader support?

Or the defeat of which one would cause a Guardianista the most anguish?

The above exchange was 3 light hearted posts, well I took them to be light hearted.

Some took umbrage that I had suggested when I had turned Loon's post around so that instead of asking which would garner support, I asked which would people rather see lose. Essentially, the same question, no?

Some were seemingly annoyed that I could have implied that anyone reading the Guardian could support a paedo, but were quite happy to accept that a Daily Mail reader could.

In reality, it bothers me not, 'tis t'internet after all, hey ho.

To seemingly support the assumption that Mail readers would rather support a paedo, someone posted an anti immigrant 'cartoon'. I would suggest that a pro paedo piece from the Mail would have been stronger evidence to support the claim.

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

I had a quick squint at the Guardian this morning and I have come over all apologist. I've fired emails off apologising for how we British were so beastly. I even emailed Merkel to apologise to the German people for the Russian linesman in '66

I'm not sure it counts as a Moët binge if after 9 hours you are still composing coherent posts on BR. :)

I'm sure a couple of bottles of Lambrini and a Soda Stream would have kept him happy.

Watching someone try to parallel park in a space that is shorter than her car. She was essentially stuck diagonally and no one would let her pull out again, had a little chuckle to myself. Mean but funny.

every day is race day, every road is a racetrack. living life 1/4 of a mile at a time. Racing is life, everything else is just waiting.

Can't think of anyother naff phrases offhand butplease feel free to add on.

Never competed but always had tuned bikes- this one is a tuned to buggery hand built stripped down Maxtoned/titaniumed/hand made yokes, pipes etc RGV 250. Should be looking at 80bhp and 100 kg at the end of project.

    Reliabilitybe damned :)

Here's a couple for you - firstly the one that you may have seen on the MotoGP website, newsfeed, social media etc. Marquez and Dovi checking out the video of the race finish at Losail on the screen in the Tech office as they make their way past to the podium celebrations.

And this is the picture that my mate took from inside the office - I'm behind the desk on the RHS as you look at this pic.

table opposite has 3 ladies who think they are all Rachel Stevens having champagne . Nice hair, vest tops, you know the look.

Fourth member of their party has knackered biker jacket, DMs and is quaffing pints. Zero phukks given by that lady.
