Was it in a jiffy bag?

    :D

You can get a TUE for tablet?
Good tablet is good but only in small amounts. Bad tablet is worse than Marmite.

WTF is tablet? I assume it's not an electronic device or pills.

I tend to avoid any foodstuff that is from north of the border for the benefit of my health!
Appeared to be fudge when I tried it

'Appeared to be' - sounds like you got the Marmite version. It's not all chips with curry sauce up here you know. (You can have them with chilli and garlic sauce*).

*Available from all good Kebab outlets.

When you have a closer at something mad that is dumped on your desk at very short notice and realize that actually, so long as two pieces of the puzzle fall in place it’s actually quite simples, innit, and nothing really to pull your hair out over and scream and cry.

Had one of those, too. Neatly balanced by one that should have been completely straightforward, but has become another cluster***. Still the sun is out.

I think Cowsham deserves a commendation in that respect. I only wish it was a joke.

Hmm. I feel that Cowsham's posts lack the flamboyance of Coopster's. The way he goes beyond cliché, daring you to believe that he might actually be for real. I think someone should put him forward for the next Venice Biennale.

    Today.

As opposed to yesterday which was sh1t. Horrendous traffic congestion for no apparent reason, and when I finally arrived I wasted the entire work day faffing ineffectively with rubbish software. Once home again, another hour or so trying to coax a 6x4 print out of the rubbish HP printer, then a final painful 90 minutes trying to catch up on some TV via the hitherto completely reliable iPad / TV with Chromecast; first the Cast icon just vanished completely, and then when it randomly reappeared later it kept dropping out without a word of explanation?

So by comparison today has been marvellous. No traffic hold ups on the way in, and as I arrived my IT chum handed me the stricken laptop with said software correctly installed this time, so I in turn could pass it on to it's grateful owner having restored the neccessary data.
Garage bods collected and returned my car promptly, serviced, washed and hoovered, and the dog food delivery arrived as promised.

All's well with my world again

On which subject, I see the 'Spooners c-in-c Tim in-touch-with-the-common-man-and-Leave-promoter Martin has been hailing the relative success of Greggs and McD over those troubled liberal elite chain restaurants. Wunnerful country this. Oh drat, wrong thread, sorry...

Either bad fudge, or bad tablet. I dare say the basic ingredients are similar, if not the same, but the consistency is completely different.

Paging pedants. Shouldn't it be MIWLF? Or, M.I W.L.F.? The plural does not get designated when an acronym. Maybe. Also, pedants getting fussy. Yes, I know.
